Life is precious

Dear Novel Girl Followers,

I am unable to post on a "Writer's Diet" today. My sons and I are in crisis. Will's oldest and dearest friend, Josiah Berger, a lovely, kind and precious nineteen-year-old young man, was in a car accident Tuesday night. He has SEVERE brain injuries and only a Miracle can save him. Not only has he been Will's best friend since the age of seven, he is the son of my loving pastor, Steve Berger.

Josiah's mother, father, sisters and brother, friends and extended family would appreciate your prayers. He is in the trauma unit of Vanderbilt hospital.

I thank you with all my heart.

Lisa

Oh, Lisa, my heart goes out for you, your son, and Josiah's family. You will all be in my prayers. Please keep us updated, and of course, if there's anything I can do--just ask.

Lisa...I am sorry to hear about Josiah. I lost my 19-yr-old son (Brian) in an accident 6 years ago. My heart has been hurting for this family and I have been praying...for his miraculous healing and comfort for the family.

Thank you all so much for your prayers for Josiah and his family. Lisa, heard right. Josiah did lose his fight. He was an organ donor and because he was so healthy his life helped to save so many others last night - right at Vanderbilt hospital.

I am so sorry to hear about your son, Lisa. My heart aches for you and my prayers are with you as well.

I am so touched by your thoughtfulness, everyone, to take the time to post and send up prayers. We who love Josiah believe he is now in Perfect Peace in Heaven with God. Bless you all for your prayers. Lisa
